a case study on physiognomy

physiognomy: the idea that inner character is showcased through facial expressions and body gestures. for my studio photography final, i decided to put a modern take on this through clothing expression. inspired by 90s & early 2000s fashion photography, i shot portraits using a 16mm lens. all of my models were given one specific criteria: wear an outfit that they feel represents themselves the most.
